Neil Yager, Ph.D., is the Distinguished Data Scientist at Phrasee, the London-headquartered marketing technology company that generates AI-Powered Copywriting for emails, social, and push notifications. Neil is the architect of the Phrasee method, the technology that underpins Phrasee’s AI-copywriting capabilities. A 20-year veteran of the tech industry, Neil is one of the world’s leading experts in commercializing artificial intelligence. He has worked in various digital roles for prominent innovative and forward-thinking technology companies, including Canon Information Systems Research Australia (CiSRA), BT Imaging, and Biometix. Neil has also written over a dozen academic publications, authored a book on data mining, and holds several patents. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales in Australia. In 2008, Neil was awarded The Malcolm Chaikin Prize for Research Excellence in Engineering, a prestigious innovation award. Phrasee’s market-leading learning engine culminated in Neil’s vast data experience, digital expertise, and boundless passion for all aspects of the machine learning field.
