What Do Customers Say About the Sendfox?

g2.com

Positive reviews:

“I have used Aweber, Mailchimp and others, but I find Sendfox the easiest to use and a great value for the price. I like it’s integrations. I integrate with Optimize Press 3.” – Barry C. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ January 5, 2026

“Low cost, easy to set up, works well with KingSumo. I use it to collect email addresses from competitions being run, then I can send follow-up emails from SendFox.” – Mark D. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ August 23, 2025

Negative reviews:

“It’s very barebones and the user interface is not the best I’ve ever seen for an email marketing tool.” – Kelly W. ⭐⭐☆☆☆ August 31, 2025

“It doesn’t provide an SMTP connection! This is one flaw I can mention about SendFox.” – Mohsin A. ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ October 15, 2025

Positive reviews:

“All you need to kick-start your startup! I love this tool and use it for my startups all the time for over 12 months now (and a few projects). Including free and paid versions. This is all you need to kick-start.” – Nikita ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 23, 2025

“I love SendFox for its simplicity, excellent email deliverability, great customer support, and lifetime offer. It saves me a lot of money and has all the features that I need.” – Cosmin ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ January 24, 2025

Negative reviews:

“Poor (non-existent) customer support. They deactivated my account and asked me to reach out to their support team. But then they don’t even bother replying.” – Harsh ⭐☆☆☆☆ June 13, 2025

“They work for simple small email lists, but if somebody signs up and forgets to verify, they are lost forever. Next time they try to sign up it just silently fails, as they don’t get a new confirmation email.” – Einar Boson ⭐⭐☆☆☆ January 9, 2026

trustradius.com

Positive reviews:

“I use SendFox to send emails to a medium-sized email database. The emails I send are irregular. They will be used for opening challenges and sending all the challenge emails and then stop for a number of months. They don’t directly contribute to my income, so a service where I pay a lot per month when I’m over ‘so many email addresses’ is not suitable for me. I don’t mind minimal branding for my emails, which this has.” – Verified User ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

Sendfox: Email Marketing Platform Review

  • Email Marketing Platform Expert Score: 3.1 – Average Performer

Do We Recommend Sendfox?

Sendfox is an average performer based on its mixed ratings across independent review platforms of 3.0, which suggests there is room for growth in both its features and customer satisfaction. Businesses seeking added functionalities or seamless integrations may need to consider alternatives. While it provides basic email marketing features, Sendfox lacks the innovation, scalability, and reliability to compete with top-rated businesses.

Feature Highlights: What Stands Out and What’s Missing

Here’s a look at what Sendfox actually delivers – and where it falls short.

  • Email Automation / Drip Campaigns
  • List Management & Segmentation
  • Email Personalization
  • Landing Page Builder
  • Sign-Up Forms & Pop-Ups
  • E-commerce Integrations
  • Deliverability Tools
  • Bounce & Unsubscribe Management
  • Email Analytics & Reporting
  • Multi-User Access
  • GDPR Compliance Tools
  • API & Integrations

Let’s take a closer look at what Sendfox delivers with each of these features.

Email Automation / Drip Campaigns

Welcome emails, drip sequences, and action-based triggers all run without a complex visual builder getting in the way. A new subscriber fires a welcome immediately, link clicks tag the contact for follow-up routing, and sequences keep going on their own – the whole thing is configured for newsletter publishers, not enterprise teams.

List Management & Segmentation

Contacts go into multiple lists and tag-based segments via CSV import, manual entry, or API. Targeting a specific segment at send time is just picking the right list or tag combination – there’s no visual segment builder, and filtering stays intentionally simple rather than trying to match what full-stack platforms do.

Email Personalization

First name, last name, email address, and a few other stored fields drop into subject lines and body copy via personalization tags. That covers most of what newsletter publishers actually need – custom field support beyond the defaults is limited, and dynamic content blocks aren’t a documented feature on any plan.

Landing Page Builder

SendFox calls these Smart Pages – hosted on sendfox.com or a custom domain, built from templates without code. A Smart Page captures email and name, adds the subscriber to a list on the spot, and embeds on external sites for creators running a separate content property alongside their main newsletter.

Sign-Up Forms & Pop-Ups

Sign-up forms build inside SendFox and deploy on any external site with a code snippet. Each form connects to a designated list on submission and includes a GDPR-compliant consent checkbox that’s configurable per form. Native pop-ups aren’t a feature – forms are inline or page-embedded only.

E-commerce Integrations

There’s no native Shopify or WooCommerce connector in SendFox. Purchase events reach the platform through Zapier, Make, or Pabbly Connect – triggering contact creation or tag application on the other end. The integration surface is built around content creators, so ecommerce workflows need middleware to work at all.

Deliverability Tools

Senders validate their own domain inside SendFox rather than handing over SMTP credentials – all outbound mail routes through that authenticated domain. Deliverability is tiered by plan: free accounts sit on “normal” infrastructure, while paid plans move up to “better” and “best” for inbox placement.

Bounce & Unsubscribe Management

An opt-out updates the contact’s status right away and stops future campaigns from hitting that address – no manual suppression step needed. Bounce handling runs at the infrastructure level through SendFox’s sending layer. Full removal rather than suppression means archiving or deleting the contact directly from inside the account.

Email Analytics & Reporting

List growth, open rates, and click rates report per campaign in a clean dashboard that doesn’t try to do more than it needs to. The data answers whether people are actually reading, and exports to a spreadsheet when that’s what someone needs. Heatmaps, attribution modeling, and device breakdowns aren’t on the table.

Multi-User Access

One account, one login – multi-user access isn’t supported. Teams where each person needs their own access run separate SendFox accounts. There’s no agency dashboard, no sub-account structure, and no shared workspace on any plan tier – that’s just not what this tool was built for.

GDPR Compliance Tools

Consent checkboxes configure per form, and all contacts have to opt in before campaigns reach them – SendFox documents this as GDPR compliant. Double opt-in is available, though disabling it for API-added contacts requires the Empire Add-On. Unsubscribe handling and deletion requests are both manageable from inside the account.

API & Integrations

A basic API covers contact creation, list management, and campaign data retrieval – documented for developers who want programmatic subscriber control. Native integrations are limited by design; Zapier, Make, and Pabbly Connect carry most of the integration weight for CRMs, form builders, and ecommerce platforms that need to talk to SendFox.

Supported Integrations

E-commerce Data SyncShopify, Zapier, Make, Pabbly Connect, WooCommerce
Ad Network RetargetingFacebook Custom Audiences, Zapier, Make

E-commerce Data Sync

SendFox has no native ecommerce connector – there’s no built-in Shopify or WooCommerce integration in the platform itself. Order value, SKU, and purchase timestamp data can reach SendFox through Zapier, Make, or Pabbly Connect, but each field has to be mapped manually in the middleware. It’s contact creation and tagging that actually lands in SendFox, not a structured purchase record.

Ad Network Retargeting

SendFox has no native Facebook Custom Audience sync. The platform is built for content creators and newsletter senders, not ad retargeting workflows. Connecting SendFox contact lists to Facebook Custom Audiences requires Zapier or Make as a bridge – there is no direct API push from SendFox to Meta’s advertising infrastructure.

Feature Highlights: What Stands Out and What’s Missing

Here’s a look at what SendFox actually delivers – and where it falls short.

  • Email Automation
  • Subscriber Management
  • Web Archive / Blog
  • RSS-to-Email
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • API & Integrations

Let’s take a closer look at what SendFox delivers with each of these features.

Email Automation

SendFox supports unlimited automated email sequences triggered by subscriber actions – joins, opens, or clicks. A welcome series or drip campaign takes minutes to put together, though the trigger options are narrower than what something like ActiveCampaign gives you.

Subscriber Management

List management lives in a single sidebar panel – subscriber growth, recent activity, and campaign stats all in one view. Importing contacts from Mailchimp via API key is built in, so there’s no CSV file to deal with.

Web Archive / Blog

Every SendFox account gets a hosted public archive of sent campaigns – a web-accessible page that acts as a stripped-down blog. It serves as a browsable content record for new visitors before they subscribe.

RSS-to-Email

SendFox pulls content directly from your RSS feed to auto-draft newsletters from your latest posts. For bloggers on a regular posting schedule, new content goes out to subscribers automatically – the email prep is basically handled.

Analytics & Reporting

Four metrics are tracked per campaign: open rate, click rate, bounce rate, and unsubscribe rate – sitting right on the dashboard next to each sent email. No segmentation-level reporting, but what’s there covers the basics without needing to dig for it.

API & Integrations

Full API access comes on every plan, so developers can build integrations without needing to be on a paid tier. Native connections cover 30+ tools – including Zapier, Make, Pabbly Connect, and Elementor – with direct integrations also available for KingSumo, WP Fluent Forms, and Convertbox.

Features Not Verified for SendFox

  • Custom Domain Support
  • Landing Page / Website Builder

Subscription & Referral ToolsKingSumo, Stripe, Zapier, Pabbly Connect

Subscription & Referral Tools

SendFox has a built-in referral program and connects directly to KingSumo for contest-driven list growth. Stripe hooks in via Zapier or Pabbly Connect, so paid subscriber flows are workable – just not through a single native toggle.

SendFox Email Newsletter Platform Pricing
